A meeting of heads of national headquarters for the CSTO operation "PROXY" was held

On March 15, 2023, the CSTO Secretariat hosted a meeting of heads and authorized representatives of national headquarters for the Collective Security Treaty Organization continuous operation on combating information technology crimes (“PROXY”). It was attended by delegations of representatives of national authorized bodies for responding to computer incidents of the CSTO member states.

The CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov addressed the meeting. He noted that in 2022, despite the difficult situation and the increasing scale of illegal actions against the CSTO member states, all national structures of the CSTO member states involved in the operation successfully accomplished their tasks. "The set of planned and implemented measures has generally been fulfilled. Employees of law enforcement agencies, special services and law enforcement bodies, specialized ministries and departments of the member states directly involved in combating crimes in the field of information technology acted competently and professionally," Valery Semerikov noted.

The meeting participants have discussed the results of work in 2022 and identified priority activities to combat criminal manifestations in the field of information technology this year and in the near future.
